Dashboard
The Terracotta dashboard is your organization's infrastructure intelligence hub, surfacing the most important signals across all your connected repositories in a single view.
๐ Overview
When you log in, the dashboard gives you an at-a-glance picture of your infrastructure posture โ open reviews, drift status, guardrail compliance, and team activity. Everything updates in real time as your team works.
๐ Hero Section
The top of the dashboard displays four key metrics:
- Total Repos โ number of repositories connected to Terracotta
- Active Reviews โ open pull requests currently being analyzed
- Drift Score โ aggregate drift percentage across all monitored infrastructure
- Guardrail Compliance Rate โ percentage of reviews passing all guardrail policies
These counters update in real time as reviews complete and drift scans run.
๐ ๏ธ Setup Checklist
For new organizations, the dashboard displays an onboarding checklist to get you to value quickly:
- Connect a repository (GitHub or GitLab)
- Configure AI prompts for your team's workflow
- Run your first review on a Terraform pull request
- Set up drift detection for live infrastructure monitoring
Each step links directly to the relevant setup guide. The checklist disappears once all steps are complete.
๐ Pipeline Metrics
The metrics section visualizes your review pipeline health over time:
- Review throughput โ number of reviews completed per day/week
- Average review time โ how long reviews take from trigger to completion
- Finding trends โ severity breakdown over time, shown as charts and sparklines
Use these trends to identify whether your infrastructure quality is improving or degrading.
๐ง Review Queue
The review queue lists open pull requests awaiting review, ordered by severity:
- Each PR shows its repository, branch, author, and a severity badge
- Color-coded badges indicate the highest-severity finding: critical (red), high (orange), medium (yellow), low (blue)
- Click any PR to jump directly to the full review results
Use the review queue as your daily triage โ address critical and high findings first.
๐ ๏ธ Activity Feed
The bottom of the dashboard shows a chronological log of recent organization activity:
- Reviews completed with finding counts
- Drift scans with detected changes
- Guardrail violations flagged
- Team member actions (integrations connected, settings changed)
The feed provides context for your team's infrastructure operations without switching between multiple views.
