Managing Your Organization in Terracotta AI

This guide walks through the Organization section of Terracotta AI. Admins and users can view and manage team membership, permissions, billing, and organization profile settings from this panel.


Accessing Your Organization Settings

To open the Organization panel:

  1. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the app.
  2. Select Account from the dropdown.
  3. Scroll to the Organization section.

Organization Profile

  • Organization Name: This is the name of your workspace, which owners can edit.
  • Created At: Displayed at the bottom of the account page.

Members

This section lists all members associated with your organization.

Role Definitions:

  • Owner: Full control — can invite/remove members, manage billing, edit org-level settings, and configure all integrations.
  • Admin: Can manage team members, configure repositories and integrations, and access audit logs.
  • Member: Can contribute to PRs, view guardrails, access drift and cost reports, and use Pylon.
  • Viewer: Read-only access — can view dashboards, reports, and findings but cannot make changes.

Inviting New Members:

Click Add Member, then:

  1. Enter the user's email address.
  2. Choose their role (Owner, Admin, Member, or Viewer).
  3. Submit to invite.

Billing

Billing is handled via Stripe Checkout.

  • From the Organization section, click Manage Subscription.
  • You will be redirected to Stripe to update payment methods, view invoices, or upgrade plans.

Note: The app will display your current plan (e.g., Community, Pro, Enterprise) directly beneath the billing controls.


Additional Controls

  • Change Password: Reset your login password in the Personal Info section.
  • Logout: Immediately sign out of your Terracotta account.
  • Submit Feedback: Use the Feedback button (available on every page) to submit bug reports, feature feedback, or questions directly to the Terracotta team. You can optionally include a screenshot and page context.
  • Get Help: Redirects to support documentation or contact.

Sidebar Navigation

The sidebar is organized into three sections:

  • Primary: Pull Requests, Architecture, Patterns, Drift, Costs, Standards (Guardrails)
  • Setup: Connections (Repositories), Events, Audit Logs, Settings
  • API (when API access is enabled): Dashboard, Events, Conversations, Credentials

Audit Logs require admin or owner role.
